Like the designer, the photographer also has an overall vision. He too builds.

Beyond function

A building is never just walls and function — it's also a surface that catches light differently every hour of the day. This series leans into that instability: reflections that turn a façade into a mirror of the sky, shadows that cut a stairwell in half, glass towers that seem to fold into each other from certain angles.

What interests me most isn't the architect's original blueprint, but what happens to it once light, weather, and an unexpected point of view get involved. A city rewrites its own buildings constantly, if you're willing to look up.
